The Way of Saint James of Compostela
A section of the Way of Saint James of Compostela runs through the green slopes of the Brenne Valley – the famous via turonensis, which connected Paris to Tours. Full details of the itinerary and of accommodation along the way may be had from the following address:
Set off along the “de Trèves” road on the trail of the renowned Saint Martin, universal symbol of sharing. The road, which runs for almost 138 km from Tours to Vendôme, crosses municipalities connected with episodes in the saint’s life after his appointment as Bishop of Tours on 4 July 371.
