Cruise along the Loire: “The Saint-Martin boat”    Getting right up close to nature and experiencing the full splendour of the Loire Valley and its landscapes from the river itself – that’s what’s on offer from the ‘Saint-Martin de Tours’. The boat will take you on a 50-minute cruise along the Loire with live commentary from your captain and guide. The cruise is open to all, families in particular as a ‘ship’s log’ is offered free of charge to children from 7 to 12 years of age. Groups are welcome all year around, according to their wished time schedule. Alive English commentary is available for groups. Need of private boat for festive exits, marriages, birthdays... We are at your disposal to answer any particular demand. The boat is accessible to strollers and persons in wheelchair (accompanied and on booking). In the 18th century, “boule de fort” – Loire Valley bowling – was the main entertainment of members of the men’s societies that flourished along the river’s banks.
