Moncontour Vine and Wine Museum, Vouvray: Housed in the cellars of Château Moncontour, the vine and wine museum invites you to explore the history of winegrowing with an exhibition of tools used by generations of winegrowers. Visitors come to understand the stages that, month by month, lead from the grape on the vine to the wine in the bottle.
Audioguided visits (French and English). No appointment needed.
Open from April to September : Monday to Saturday from 9.30am to 1pm & 2pm to 7pm Sunday & Bank Holidays : 10am to 1pm & 2pm to 7pm
Fee: 5 €. Visits without guide. Audioguide. Free for children under 12.
For groups: 3.50 € visits with guid by appointment.

Mini-Museum of Cooperage – Producers’ Cellar, Vouvray Visit to the mini-museum of cooperage as part of the visit to troglodytic sites; presentations of modern winemaking equipment. Video: “The 4 Seasons of the Vine”.
Open every day from May 15th until September 15th : 9am to 7pm & from 9am to 12.30pm and 2pm to 7pm for the rest of the year.
