Wine fairs

Two wine trade fairs are taking place in Vouvray during the year. The first one is in May for Pentecost and Whit Monday (usually in May), this is called "Troglovinum" and this is a festival of the young producers of the Vouvray wines.

The second one is taking place in August around the 15th, this is a traditional festival. Both of them are situated in the cellars of "Bonne Dame" which is a beautiful "troglodyte" place.
Every year in January, the winegrowers are celebrating the Saint Vincent which is their patron saint. This is a traditional feast with a mass dedicated to this saint, a parade of the Brotherhoods and a nice meal in the cellars of " Bonne Dame".
